We are in chaing Mai now
Just a quick hello! We made it safely to Chaing Mai.........then we had quite a night meeting an entire new group of orphans. How on earth are so many children left to fend for themselves?
Last night was one of the hardest things I have ever done.....saying goodbye to those angels in Phenom Penh was incredibly heart wrenching, tears were flowing.....pouring. I am so happy to have been a part of their lives for 2 weeks........but I cannot help but wonder how they will be. I know the kids were sobbing too. I imagine there could be separation issues.........and if that were me I would think I would be a bit angry at some point thet these people waltzed into my life to love me and connect w/ me then left. Anyway, I would not change the experience, I'm just concerned for the kids.
Amy Paxton.......Srey Poa asked me to come back........and I told her that, "Amy slawline niette". Meaning Amy loves you!
Karen.....I will try to post about the White Lotus soon. I have no pictures from there........it did not seem appropriate. I do have more ~other~ pics to upload....it SHOULD be easier now as there is a nice Internet Cafe across the street from our hotel. We are staying at The Lotus. It is quite different than Phenom Penh........I need some processing time. I'm in a blur of emotions. Will post ASAP.
